
Larry founded Janrain in 2005 to address the challenge of managing user identity on the Internet. Prior to Janrain, Larry was a co-founder of Silicon Valley startups Desktop.com, a web-based service, and Four11 Corporation. At Four11 Corporation, Larry led the development of its RocketMail product, one of the first Internet-based email systems. Four11 was acquired by Yahoo in 1997, and its RocketMail product became Yahoo! Mail. Earlier in his career, Larry did software development for Raynet, McDonnell Douglas and A.G. Edwards.

Paul brings more than 30 years of experience building and leading sales teams in technology, software and broadband companies. Prior to Janrain, Paul was the national sales director for EarthLink New Edge Networks, vice president of worldwide sales for Ensequence, and a vice president of business development at Excite@Home. Paul began his career as the founding sales director of Lotus and went on to hold sales management positions with Ashton Tate/Borland and AOL, where he pioneered new distribution channels and opened new global markets.

Tore is a leader in strategic business development, mergers and acquisitions with more than 15 years of experience and expertise in online marketing and advertising. Prior to Janrain, Tore was the vice president of business and corporate development for WebTrends, director of business development at EarthLink and e-business development director for AAA.com. Tore earned a Master of Business Administration from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Notre Dame.

Bill’s background is firmly rooted in B2B marketing operations. Over the past 20 years he has led marketing teams and initiatives spanning strategy, product marketing, product management, demand generation, marketing communications and business development. Prior to joining Janrain, Bill was the vice president of marketing at EthicsPoint. He has also held marketing management positions at Centennial Software, Serena Software, MeasureCast, WebTrends, Intel and Oracle. Bill earned a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the The University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in quantitative economics from Stanford University.

A seasoned leader, Brian has worked across a wide range of industries and technology platforms, focusing on web services for the past decade. Prior to Janrain, Brian was director of engineering at Kavi Corporation. Earlier in his career, Brian held engineering roles at GEC and Schlumberger. Brian received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in mechanical engineering from Oregon State University. Brian brings more than 20 years of experience building products and managing engineering teams to his role as director of engineering.

Vidya brings more than 10 years of product leadership experience in Internet- and SaaS-based products and services. Prior to Janrain, Vidya held product management and product development positions at AOL, iovation and DataMotion, where she brought to market online consumer security, enterprise email encryption, fraud prevention and web search based offerings. Vidya holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland, a Master of Science in computer science from the University of Louisiana and a Bachelor of Engineering in electronics engineering from the University of Mumbai.

Elizabeth has served on the management teams for three rapidly growing startup enterprises in the Portland area. Her experience includes building corporate infrastructure, human resource management, corporate governance, finance, tax and operations. She has provided support in raising venture capital and was also integrally involved with two initial public offerings. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from California State University Los Angeles.
