Through this process, the site is able to import rich user profile data and address books, as well as encourage the user to share their on-site activities with their social networks to drive additional traffic. Primary Responsibilities

• Design and develop software for Janrain's enterprise level web based applications.
• Work in a team environment to contribute towards the goal of developing and maintaining Janrain's SaaS offering.
• Implement solutions on a variety of software tools and technologies.
• Create high availability solutions that are used by millions of user every day.
• Learn and keep abreast of new Internet Identity and social networking protocols.
• Create software that meets both users needs & business requirements.

Required Skills/Education

• Software engineering experience building rich web based applications.
• Experience with one or more web development platforms such as Ruby on Rails, Java, or PHP. (Ruby on Rails is a big plus.)
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical related field or equivalent experience.
• Javascript expertise a plus, though not required.
• Experience working with functional languages, especially Haskell, is a big plus.
• Good working knowledge of SQL. PostgreSQL is a big plus.
• Familiarity with web protocols and APIs; OpenID and OAuth understanding a huge plus.
• Takes responsibility and demonstrates personal integrity & honesty.
• Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
