Through this process, the site is able to import rich user profile data and address books, as well as encourage the user to share their on-site activities with their social networks to drive additional traffic. Additional Janrain products and services provide customers with a complete user management solution, from registration to sharing, from custom ID solutions to user profile database solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work with customers to understand their requirements
• Create SOWs (Statements of Work) describing customer deliverables
• Design and implement custom solutions on a wide variety of platforms and technologies
• Develop Open Source plugins for our standard product offerings
• Be independent and self directing

Required Skills/Education

• Software engineering experience building web based applications.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical related field or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of a wide variety of web languages and platforms.
• Ability to quickly learn and play in new development environments.
• Familiarity with web protocols and APIs; OpenID and OAuth understanding a huge plus.
• Experience working in agency or similar setting is a huge plus.
• Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
