Janrain is the leading provider of Software-as-a-Service user management platform with solutions for social login, social sharing and profile data storage to help companies improve user acquisition and build engagement.

The job of Account Development Representative (ADR) is to increase the company’s visibility by driving opportunities for the sales organization. The position is based at the Corporate Headquarters in Portland, Oregon. The ADR will focus on setting up appointments with prospects for their respective counterparts from the sales team.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Own a unique set of prospecting lists in a defined geography.
  • Drive sales opportunities by setting up appointments for phone conversations, product demos, onsite meetings for the North American Sales Organization.
  • Serve as the front line communicator for entire Janrain product line.
  • Develop and execute customer engagement strategy.
  • High activity in the areas of email and warm calling
  • Succeed in a team selling environment with a Field Account Executive,
  • Deliver value propositions for multiple products intended for unique customers.
  • Stay abreast of industry changes and trends.

Required Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelors Degree required.
  • Minimum 2 years inside business-to-business sales experience.
  • Hunter mentality
  • Experience in selling SaaS solutions strongly preferred
  • Experience selling solutions to marketing organizations strongly preferred
  • Experience in and knowledge Social and Digital Marketing
  • Ability to manage several tasks and multiple responsibilities.
  • Goal-oriented and incentive driven with a history of overachievement.
  • Detail oriented, relationship-building skills and a passion for superb customer service.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to establish rapport with customers quickly.
  • Proven ability to handle, adapt, and overcome change.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Microsoft Office skills and Salesforce.com.

Scope:

This is an individual contributor position.

Interaction:

This position is both externally and internally facing. The successful candidate must be able to build and maintain strong and professional working relationships internally with members of the Sales Organization, and externally with customers and all others he/she may come into contact with.

Working Conditions:

  • The office is located in downtown Portland.
